As a result, the production cycle for each unit has been shortened from 15 minutes to just 8 minutes. Even more crucially, the production line can now swiftly switch between different product models, enabling it to meet the customized demands of customers in regions such as Southeast Asia and Africa for generators of varying power outputs.
Against the backdrop of Chongqing Municipality's efforts to advance the construction of the "33618" modern manufacturing cluster, Yuma Mechatronics The circular economy practices in the production phase are equally impressive. The upgraded painting workshop now uses water-based paints instead of traditional ones, paired with VOC (volatile organic compounds) recovery systems that ensure exhaust emissions remain far below national standards. Meanwhile, scrap metal remnants are efficiently recycled via an intelligent sorting system and remelted into generator housings, boosting material utilization rates to as high as 98%. This "resource-product-regenerated resource" closed-loop model not only cuts down on raw material costs but also helps the company secure EU CE certification, opening doors to premium-market opportunities.
The intelligent transformation of the production line is far more than a simple equipment replacement. Currently, over 60% of the company’s 25 employees have undergone skill certification and transitioned into "multi-skilled workers." "In the past, veteran technicians relied on experience to fine-tune equipment—but now, data 'speaks up' proactively," explains Ma Qingsong, the production supervisor. He gives an example: when a particular batch of generators exceeded noise standards, the system quickly pinpointed the issue through spectrum analysis—specifically, an imbalance in the fan blades. Armed with this insight, technicians adjusted the mold parameters accordingly, successfully reducing the defect rate from 3% to just 0.5%.
