On October 15, 2025, the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will kick off in Guangzhou. As China's "leading indicator" and "barometer" of foreign trade, the Canton Fair has stood the test of time over its 65-year history, consistently serving as a vital bridge that connects Chinese enterprises to global markets. This year's fair will be held across three phases: the first focusing on industrial sectors such as machinery, electronics, and tools; the second featuring consumer goods like home furnishings and gifts; and the third centered around specialty products tied to rural revitalization initiatives. Yuma Electromechanical was established in 2018 and is located in Dashipan Village, Xiemama Town, Beibei District, Chongqing City. It is a comprehensive machinery enterprise integrating R&D, production, and sales. With a registered capital of 500,000 yuan, the company primarily focuses on diesel generators, gasoline generators, agricultural machinery equipment, and irrigation systems—products that are exported to regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. In recent years, Yuma Electromechanical has steadily transitioned from traditional manufacturing toward intelligent and modular solutions through technological innovation and brand upgrades. In February 2025, the company was granted a utility model patent for "A Modularly Designed Portable Gasoline Generator," a product that stands out for its lightweight design and ease of maintenance. This innovative generator meets the diverse needs of outdoor operations and emergency power supply scenarios, making it one of the key exhibits at this year's Canton Fair.

 

The Canton Fair Stage: Opportunities and Challenges Coexist

This year's Canton Fair has reached a new record in scale, with over 60,000 offline booths attracting buyers from 210 countries and regions worldwide. According to the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, pre-registered overseas buyers have already surpassed 170,000, including more than 200 of the world’s top 250 retail companies. Such a massive international buyer base presents Yuma Machinery & Electronics with a golden opportunity to expand into overseas markets.

 

However, opportunities also come with hidden challenges. The current global trade environment remains complex and volatile, with ongoing tests of corporate resilience posed by issues such as technological barriers and rising logistics costs. Yuma Electromechanical’s General Manager, Mr. Ma, remarked: "The Canton Fair is not just a battle for orders—it’s also a true test of our brand strength. To stand out in the fierce competition, we must differentiate ourselves through innovative products and tailored services." To this end, the company began preparing its exhibition strategy three months in advance, meticulously planning every detail—from booth design and product display to customer reception—all centered around the theme of "Efficiency, Intelligence, and Sustainability," aiming to build a professional image that earns the trust and confidence of international clients.

Targeting the demand for small agricultural machinery in the Southeast Asian market, Yuma Mechatronics has launched a micro-tiller equipped with an IoT module. This device can transmit operational data to a mobile app in real time, helping farmers optimize their farming plans. Additionally, the company has partnered with the School of Mechanical Engineering at Chongqing University to develop an electric fruit tree pruning machine specifically designed for hilly terrains, addressing the challenges of traditional models—such as their cumbersome operation and low efficiency.

As a key enterprise of the Chongqing trade delegation, Yuma Electromechanical has received brand booth support for three consecutive years. At this year’s Canton Fair, the company applied for 12 booths, six of which are designated as brand booths, showcasing its high-end generators and intelligent agricultural machinery products in a focused manner.

 

Beyond the Canton Fair: Blending Online and Offline, Accelerating Global Expansion

In addition to its offline exhibitions, Yuma Mechatronics is also actively participating in the Canton Fair’s “Cloud Showroom” online platform. By leveraging technologies such as 3D product modeling and VR factory tours, the company provides overseas customers with an immersive experience. The company’s Foreign Trade Department Manager revealed: "Online channels have become a crucial avenue for us to attract new customers from the Middle East and Latin America. In the first half of 2025, online orders already accounted for 35% of our total business."  

 

In the future, Yuma Mechatronics plans to establish overseas warehouses in Dubai and Jakarta, reducing delivery times to 7 days. Meanwhile, the company will collaborate with the Chongqing Machinery & Electronics Products Import-Export Association and participate in the "Guangdong Trade Global" Middle East tour, further deepening its presence in the Belt and Road markets.
